Today, all hosting packages have received support for TLS v1.3. TLS 1.3 is the next step in improving security and speed of network operation - including website loading. Work on the new version of the protocol took more than 8 years, but it was only worth waiting for the results.
Better performance
TLS and encrypted connections have always added a slight overall slowdown in terms of page loading speed, but also in terms of overall network performance. Introduction of HTTP/2 has definitely helped to solve this problem, but TLS 1.3 helps to speed up even more with new features it offers.
More safety
One of the major problems with TLS 1.2 is that without proper configuration by the administrator, network services may be exposed to various vulnerabilities. In TLS 1.3 these vulnerabilities have been removed and new security features have been introduced.
Browser support
TLS 1.3 is already supported by the most popular browsers for some time. Chrome supports it from version 65 (from 70 in the final version), Firefox from 52 including Quantum version, Microsoft Edge from 73. Additionally, support for TLS 1.3 is enabled by default in Safari from version 12.1, on macOS from version 10.14.4.
