How to see hidden files in cPanel file manager?

To see the hidden files in the file manager, you have to unlock the related option. This is useful when, for example, you want to edit a .htaccess file.

  1. Log in to Your cPanel account.
  2. In the Files section, select "File manager".

  3. Click "Settings" button in the upper right corner. In the window that appears, select "Show hidden files (dotfiles)".
